Snooker star Mark Williams shocked fellow world champ Stephen Hendry by showing him his cheeky tattoo – of a one-fingered salute. Williams sent Hendry a photo of him pulling down his shorts to reveal the inking on his left buttock. Seven times world champion Hendry, 50, posted it on Instagram, saying: "Received this lovely message from my old friend the 2018 world champion Mark from China.'' More than 3,500 fans gave the snap the thumbs-up. One wrote: "That'll look nice when he does cartwheels!'' Three-time world champion Williams, 44, is not frightened of controversy. In April he branded snooker chiefs "pathetic" after they barred his 12-year-old son from his dressing room as he began his world title defence. The reigning champion said Kian was not allowed in to wish him good luck before his opening round victory because officials said the schoolboy did not have a backstage pass. The snub came after Williams had been left off the front cover of snooker's latest computer game. The cue master raged: "They have some kind of grief with me. I've been having this nonsense through the season. It is pathetic in my eyes.'' Following his 18-16 triumph over John Higgins in the 2018 final Williams famously turned up to the press conference wearing just a towel after an all-night booze bender. He had last won the world title 15 years previously and was such a long shot beforehand he vowed to strip naked if he lifted the trophy. Last October (2018) Joanne raised eyebrows when she tweeted she would be 'riding' her husband 'tonight' during a holiday booze bender at the £1,600-a-night Burj Al Arab hotel in Dubai as they celebrated his victory, cheekily adding: "Get that LUBE ready.'' Pals later claimed Williams had sent the message from her account after swiping her phone when she was not looking.
